Shields vs Shields

On Dec. 30th 2000, a Kansas City, Missouri Police Officer decided to go to a bar and see some friends play in a band. He walked into the bar and greated his friends when suddenly a man ran into the bar and said he'd just been robbed and another guy had been robbed in the parking lot also. The police officer determined the details, called for backup, and rushed outside (assuming the villian would be long gone). To his surprise, the suspect, Torin Shields was still sitting in the pickup truck he had just car jacked. He approached Mr. Shields with his gun and HIS Shield drawn for identification. As it turned out, Mr. Shields had car jacked a pickup truck with a manual transmission. Mr. Shields, apparantly didn't know how to drive a stick shift and couldn't get the car into reverse as was apparant by the grinding of gears. Moments later the officer pulled the incompetant robber from the car, who then decided it was a good idea to challenge the cop to a gun fight. The robber began leveling his semi-automatic handgun at the officer and was quickly dispatched with five rounds by the officer. A quick check of the perps gun revealed it was fully loaded, except for the most important round in the chamber. The one that makes the gun go boom.
So, the moral of the story is;
If you are going to car jack, know how to drive a stick.
and
If you are going to challenge a Police Officer to a duel, load your weapon.
