Trash compactor crushes Norfolk man, 66
NORFOLK, Neb. (AP) - A man who had his head in a portable trash compactor died Thursday when he accidentally started the machine, authorities said.
Henry Aase, 66, apparently was checking the compactor when he turned it on by mistake, the Nebraska State Patrol said.
Aase was collecting trash in a trailer court he owned and pulling the mobile compactor behind a tractor before the 9 a.m. CDT accident, the patrol said.

This sounds like a DA winner to me. He's dead from a wantonly stupid accident of his own making. How smart can you be if you're stuffing your head into a running garbage compactor? Submitted on 05/31/2002
