Police in North Vancouver, BC, Canada, pulled two cars over for speeding on a divided highway. The drivers stopped their cars, containing six men in their early twenties, to one side of the bridge they were on. The driver of one of the cars told police that he needed to go to the washroom and proceeded to cross the highway. When he reached the railing at the center of the bridge, he climbed over. Whether or not he knew there was a sizeable gap between the eastbound and westbound lanes is unclear, as is whether he was trying to jump across or trying to evade police. Whatever his reasons, his decision resulted in his genes' elimination from the gene pool as he plunged through the gap and fell 40 meters to his death.
