Bullets in a war zone?
2003 Reader Submission
Pending Acceptance
London's Guardian quotes Kate Edwards--one of the
self-described "peace activists" who have gone to
Ramallah to show solidarity with Arab terrorists: "I never thought for a moment that they would fire live ammunition at us." Live ammunition? In a war zone?
Who's ever heard of such a thing? Edwards suffered
internal injuries when she was shot in the stomach;
had she died, she'd have been a leading contender
for the Darwin Awards. I submit her for honorable mention.
