On Friday Feb. 8th 2002, an employee (20 year old Bradley E. Rhodes) of a camp for troubled youths was injured while attempting to remove sneakers from the phone and electric lines near one of their buildings. The employee was standing in the raised bucket of a front end loader and was holding a 14 foot piece of copper tubing that had a pocket knife taped to the end of it. As he tried to remove a pair of shoes, contact was made with the electrical conductor. The young genius fell from the bucket landing on the hood of the loader. He sustained severe burns to both hands, a foot, and his buttocks. Mr. Rhodes died Feb. 27th 2002.
According to his mother " Nobody knows what really happened. There were two people involved and one of them isn't talking"
